FULL TIME Massage Therapist will provide a range of customer service, clinic maintenance, and patient support functions pertaining to physical therapy clinics of Kure Pain Management Specialists and will include, but not limited to:

Participate in ongoing training and development.
Escorting PT patients to the appropriate areas for evaluation/treatment.
Perform set-up of patient equipment and modalities for treatment under the direction of a licensed PT or PTA. Application of hot or cold packs under the direction of a licensed PT or PTA.
Assists a PT or PTA with therapeutic exercises, functional activities and activities of daily living, gait and ambulation practice, transfers, and balance activities. May assist with or perform routine follow-up of exercises. Supervision of patients using PT equipment.
Provides therapeutic massage to physical therapy patients as directed and supervised by treating therapist as it pertains to the physical therapy plan of care.
Provides massage therapy services within the scope of current licensure/certification.
Maintains physical therapy supplies, equipment, and treatment areas to sustain safe, efficient environment. Regular inventory and stocking of supplies as requested by the Director of Physical Therapy.
Cleaning common areas including waiting room/reception area, staff break room, PT office, and bathroom.
Maintain and monitor weekly linen supply and coordinator with laundry supply company to assure enough linens for daily/weekly use.
Assist with the following items (the following is a sampling and not intended to be an exhaustive list):Answering telephone inquiries, Scheduling patient visits
Intake and registration of patients
Collecting fees and payments at front desk and logging appropriately and accurately.
Maintaining patient charts (paper or electronic)
Confirm patient appointments by phone or assisting with automated call system
Write up next day’s charge / encounter forms
Scanning of paper records to our EMR software in appropriate patient chart section
Assist with Biomedical equipment maintenance and oversee annual preventative maintenance checks
Coordinate internal incident reporting
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Assist with clinic opening and/or closing procedures.
Follows all Kure Pain Management company policies and procedures as well as quality, safety, OSHA, confidentiality and HIPAA standards.
Carry out daily responsibilities and make decisions based on the PT clinic values of Engagement, Focus and Detail, Clinical Excellence/Exceptional Outcomes, Customer Service, Profitability, and Growth.

Requirements Include:

High school diploma or GED.
CPR Certification.
Maintain current massage therapy certification/licensure for state of Maryland
