Umar Mahmood, D.O., is fellowship trained in interventional pain management. He completed his B.S. at The University of Texas, Austin before attending Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Mahmood completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at New York University and an Interventional Spine and Rehabilitation Medicine fellowship at New England Baptist Hospital in Boston, MA, a teaching affiliate of Tufts University School of Medicine and Harvard Medical School. Dr. Mahmood’s extensive training has allowed him to apply a multidisciplinary approach to patient care with treatment options including spine rehabilitation, patient education, restoration of function, and interventional pain procedures to maximize efficacy.
